DJ's maths

DJ was struggling with his maths today, but after a bit of rewindable learning and encouragement, he soon grasped the concept...so much so that I gave him an extra question to answer and then he wanted to look at the questions he could not answer yesterday.

Tino Pai DJ - your perseverance and attitude was certainly displaying the Point England Way!

From Paulah to Ruma Rua

Hello this is Paulah from Point England School, I'm collaborating with Mrs Collins today on this blog post . Do you have one class in your school, we have 5 classes in our school.  I used an iPad to help me with my learning for 3 years, but this year I am using a chrome book.  Its fun using a chrome book because you can do much more exciting things on a chrome book rather than an ipad like the games you can play, go on Sumo paint which is SUPER fun and cool maths games like RUN3.  I am in room 22 but we work in a shared classroom with Room 21 and 23 and we have 3 main teachers but sometimes some other teachers come and help us.  My favourite thing about our school is the park and Maths...

Pt EnglandMarch 19, 2019 at 1:02 PM

Today we worked with Mrs Collins to collaborate (work together) on a blog comment for our Tuhi Mai, Tuhi Atu buddy blog class - Rm 2 at Park Estate School

Here is what we co-constructed...

"Hello we are Lute and Eva and we go to Pt England School, Glen Innes, Auckland and we are in your buddy blogging class for Tuhi Mai, Tuhi Atu . .We really liked your video because you look like you were having so much fun! At PES we do netball, rugby, and cricket with Charlie from Auckland Kiwi-sport. You did really well dribbling the hockey ball...we noticed that you found it a bit tricky, but keep trying and you with get there! Have you been swimming...we have as a class to learn how to get better in the water. Check out our blog to see what we get up to at Point England School."
